“Protective Partners”
“Protective Partners” first started as a plein-air sketch in Yellowstone overlooking a herd of buffalo that had sought out a watering hole in the greenest pasture under the soft blue sky. The two buffalo standing side by side demonstrated a partnership of strength and protection that had carried them through the rugged terrain. The painting portrays both strength and tranquility with the warm neutral colors and a timeless sense of peace as the buffalo stare out into the unknown.
Oil on wrap-around canvas 30X24.
