"Protective Partners"
"Protective Partners" first started as a plein-air sketch in Yellowstone overlooking a herd of buffalo that had sought out a watering hole in the greenest pasture under the soft blue sky. The two buffalo standing side by side demonstrated a partnership of strength and protection that had carried them through the rugged terrain. The painting portrays both strength and tranquility with the warm neutral colors and a timeless sense of peace as the buffalo stare out into the unknown. Oil on wrap-around canvas 30X24. $ 650

"There Goes Sundown"
"There Goes Sundown" stands as the artist's favorite painting as it captures so many emotions and memories. There is something steady and true about the setting of the sunset, no matter the challenges or weight of the day. Whether the day was filled with great happiness or shadowed by struggle, it will bring a colorful closure with the hope and promise of tomorrow's sunrise. Oil on wrap-around canvas 36X30. $ 750

"Abstract Rose Flowers"
A flowing abstract of blooming florals, this piece blends rich violets, deep blues, and warm rose tones into a layered composition. The harmonious palette evokes calm, romance, and quiet elegance. Oil on wrap-around canvas 36X24. $ 475

"Resilience"
“Resilience” comes to mind when looking into this woman’s face. Her story could tell some tales, but she has lived through it and is stronger because of it. She is tough and strong, but with understanding and mercy in her heart. Oil on canvas 18X24. $ 450

“Light in the Broken Pieces”
“Light in the Broken Pieces” captures light coming in broken rafters of a country barn in the back pasture that has not been used to its full potential in quite a while. It is an awesome reminder that although we might not be up to the same potential we once were, there is still light in those broken rafters, light in the eyes, hope in the heart, and song in the soul. Oil on wrap-around canvas 40X30. $ 750

"Green Pathway"
A simple landscape depicting a cool green pathway leading through a soft mountain range to blue skies. Oil on wrap-around canvas 30X30. $ 400-- SOLD

“Mercy at the Lyceum”
“Mercy at the Lyceum” takes excerpts of Bryan Stevenson’s Book, Just Mercy, and carefully places key passages within the painting depicting the Ole Miss Lyceum. College freshmen were challenged to read this book upon arriving on campus, and it serves as a reminder to remember compassion and mercy for all. This painting was featured in the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council's Biggest, Baddest Art Show in 2025 and won 3rd place. Oil on canvas 16X22. $ 350

"Peace on Snake River"
"Peace on Snake River" was taken straight from the landscape of Wyoming's' Tetons foothills, as an expressive movement of the river winding throughout the valley, demonstrating the peace that can truly be found in the valley, not just the mountain tops of life. The beautiful greens, blues, and hints of orange contrast so delicately, drawing the viewer deeper into the nature of the art. Oil on wrap-around canvas 24X36. $ 650

"Wyoming Sky"
“Wyoming Sky” A sweeping Wyoming landscape unfolds beneath a soft pink-and-blue sky, where the mountain range bursts forth from the soft, lush grass of the valley. Two small silhouette horses graze so peacefully beneath the wonder of the sky and mountain beauty. Oil on wrap-around canvas 22X28. $ 375

"Eyes of the Horse and Man"
“Eyes of the Horse and Man” is truly the image of a man and a horse with the same eye and a depiction of how a horse can see into a person’s soul. The connection between horses and people is really magical and just came through in this painting. Oil on wrap-around canvas 20X20. $ 225

"Sanctuaries at Dusk"
“Sanctuaries at Dusk.” This art scene captures St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Oxford, Mississippi, its glowing interior light spilling warmly through tall windows beneath a prominent cross. As the sun sets and dusk settles in, soft streetlights begin to illuminate the quiet sidewalk, guiding the eye toward the distant silhouette of Burns’ historic Black Baptist Church. This blend of light between the two churches symbolizes the journey taken to help bring true hope and light to this world. Oil on canvas 20X24. $ 625

“The Mind of Yoknapatawpha.”
“The Mind of Yoknapatawpha.” This piece reimagines the literary icon, William Faulkner, through a moody, organic palette of moss green as his features evoke a sense of introspection and wonder. Oil on wrap-around canvas board 12x12. $ 175

"The Old Church"
The "Old Church" just brings back memories of long sermons and hot Sunday afternoons. Oil and Acrylic on Canvas.

“Apricot Magnolias”
“Apricot Magnolias” allows the viewer to envision magnolias in a different hue. The apricot with green accents creates a fun atmosphere for the impressionistic magnolias to blossom, using an oil-and-wax mixture for texture. Oil on wrap-around canvas 24X18. $ 225

"Pathway to Home"
“Pathway to Home” is inspired by the Plein Air location in Taylor, MS. There is just something special about the pathway home.
