One of my earliest memories of connecting in art was in middle school, sketching three horse heads across my bedroom wall. I became completely absorbed in the details—their eyes, their breath, their spirit. Looking back, that moment marked the beginning of my artistic journey.
While inspiration can come from something marvelous or simplistic, I’ve always been drawn to the meaning and passion within ordinary moments.
My work reflects that perspective—capturing emotion, presence, and connection in ways that feel both personal and universal.
As a nurse, I was taught the importance of the “art of nursing”—the balance of compassion and science in caring for others. That philosophy continues to shape my creative practice. Through art, I aim to reflect the strength, joy, and resilience I’ve witnessed throughout life, creating pieces that invite others to feel a sense of peace, beauty and wonder.
